How To Flash Samsung Galaxy Note 8 SM-N950U

  1. First, you need to download and install Samsung USB drivers on your PC or Laptop (Skip this if already installed).
  2. After that, download and extract Odin Flash Tool on your PC.
  3. Now download and unpack Galaxy Note 8 Stock ROM (It is normally in ZIP format). After extracting ZIP file you will get .tar.md5 file.
  4. Power off your phone or simply remove the battery and insert it again into your phone.
  5. Press and hold Volume Down + Home + Power button at the same time, Release all buttons when a warning sign appears then press yes to confirm the action.
  6. Now phone is in Download Mode, Launch Odin Flash Tool on your PC and connects your phone with USB data cable.
  7. Odin will automatically recognize your device and you should see a light-blue box below ID:COM.
  8. Click on the AP button and select .tar.md5 file from the Stock ROM folder, If you have 4Files firmware then select all files (BL, AP, CP, CSC) one by one.
  9. After adding files, To initiate the flashing process click on the Start button, Flashing Process will be started and you will see the green bar is filling up. ⧪Don't unplug the device during the flashing process.
  10. When the flashing process is done you will see Green Pass! message. Your phone will reboot automatically, Unplug the USB data cable.
  11. The first boot will take 5 to 10 minutes so be patient, Enjoy freshly installed Stock ROM on your phone.
